what plugs are correct?
Does anyone know what model# autolite plugs are recommended for a 402? Napa gave me 145, but when I pulled the existing ones the model # was 26, which one is right, this might be the second time in a row they gave me the wrong parts

i would probably trust napa, at least the one in my town the guys are pretty knowledgeable , if it was autozone , i would have my doubts

I beleive the 145's have a little hotter spark? I only trust the people at Napa, not autozone or advance, at least not anymore after i asked the guy if 80w90 would work in my old 283, he said i dont see why not... So.. if Napa says its good, i would trust em

The people at Advance Auto here in Palm Coast have a total IQ less than the age of my 68. The best AutoZOne I have seen is the one in West Lebanon, NH where the assistant manager worked in his father's auto body shop for many years. He even remembers the year and model truck you have. Unfortunately, this is not the norm.

If I remember from my parts counter days, 145's and 26's are very similar and can be interchanged. I would use the ones NAPA gave you. Any idiot can look up spark plugs. It takes a real pro to find shift shaft seals for a 1963 Dagenham 4-speed.
