Hello. I am trying to find a decent windshield, preferably tinted, but will consider anything for a reasonable price that I can pick up in Upstate NY. I live in Cooperstown NY so if you are within a reasonable distance (a couple hours at most, more if you live in the Adirondacks) I would be grateful to see what you have. I am guessing that shipping fees for a windshield would be prohibitive if you live farther away. thanks, George.

I saw one on craigslist under chevy c10 parts Utica area but I think it was closer to Gloversville yesterday I'm sorry I don't know how to post links

Too bad I didn't know earlier. I was just vacationing in the Adirondacks from Buffalo. I have one.

Thanks for responding. If I ever get over that way and I still need one I will get in touch with you. What sort of price do you have on it and what sort of condition is it in? (I have family in Ithaca and also Rochester and in Chautauqua County, so I could make an excuse to visit them).

Hello Curt, I finally found it listed on the Glens Falls craigslist. The guy wants $130 for it which seems a bit steep. Since I have not seen any other used windshields for sale I have nothing to compare it to. Anyone have any suggestions or experience with buying a used windshield?

Cooperstown same town with the baseball museum and possibly the Corvette museum that I'm hearing now is no longer there, bummer if true, Nice area, my wife bugs me every year to visit. Good luck on your find. TTT

Yup! That is the town. The Corvette museum is long gone, but the Baseball Hall of Fame seems to remain quite popular. Drive your truck up sometime!

Thanks for writing. I think I am about 350 miles from you so I would have to make a special trip-- and I would do so if it was worth it. So I guess the next thing to do is ask about the condition (is it still clear, any tint) and the price. Thanks, George.
