It was on the glove box door when I bought the truck.

If you google "Chevy number 1" you'll find some similar emblems and patches that are apparantly from the 70's according to some sources. The "Flag" in the emblem is probably related to a dealer, maybe a dealer in Flagstaff? Makes the most sense to me as I did see similar emblems to yours with different dealer names on them. Never seen a dealer emblem on the glovebox like that though. It was probably moved there from the outside at some point by a previous owner because they thought it was cool but didn't want it on the outside getting trashed by the elements. Or it could've been owned by the dealer or an employee of the dealer, bunch of possibilities.

Years ago there was a Flag Chevrolet in Surrey B.C. Canada & I believe they used that logo .
