hose end covers
Iam looking at these aluminum hose end covers on ebay.. they come in various colors and sizes. they have numbers like an4 to an12. can anybody tell me what size fits which hose? THANKS

They are measured in sixteenths and you reduce that down to fractions. Example: AN4 is 4 16ths or 1/4, AN6 is 6 16ths or 3/8 . I think the AN stands for Army Navy. Military designation.

I guess I should have stayed awake in math class. what size would fit upper radiator hose and heater hoses?

Well upper hoses are 1 1/2" or AN24. Large heater hose 3/4" or AN12, and small heater hose 5/8" or AN10

I have looked and cannot find a an24. anybody know what size will fit the radiator hose?
