We're headed south now. But probably only as far as the Iowa 80 truck stop
We keep thinking we want to go see Mount Rushmore
Originally Colorado and Utah were on the list but it's not to often
You would take a vacation to these off the beaten path places
There are so many beautiful places within driving distance in Co. And Ut

I don't think Either of uswould ever go to stugis specifically,

Still ridding along with ya, awesome trip. I enjoyed Iowa 80, if your into American pickers there not to far east along the route to the 80 truck stop. We drove over to both on our route 66 trip while in Illinois. Just a thought.

Re: 72 Super Roadtrip-Coast to Coast

Check this place out, we went to

The house on the rock

I thought we would see some cool rock formation
Instead it was a dream of some guy that he started building back in the 40s
He just started, and kept building on this Boulder formation
This place was crazy, can't ever explain it
He also collected tons of stuff in his lifetime (that is on display too)

This pic is us, in what I think was called the infinity room

Look behind us it looks like it never ends

Here is what it looks like on the outside

Who dreams up a structure like that

We were standing in that thing about 2/3 of the way out
If you walked to heavily, you could feel it move like you were on a huge diving board

Re: 72 Super Roadtrip-Coast to Coast

We heard about the rock from a lady on our underground hike back in Kentucky
When We saw that Taliesin was right down the street
It was a no brainer (we gotta go up there)

Since We spend a bit of time in Az
A year or two ago Anne and I visited Taliesin West(amazing)
Well this place was probably more amazing

Our tour guide was awesome, and We learned so much about
