Dana 60 rear axle question

I broke my drivers side axle shaft in my Dana 60 rear. Anyone recently purchased a set of axles for this rear-end and care to share a yah or nah on the company? Does anyone make direct replacement 30 spline axles for a 1971? Dang bushes anyway, shearing axle shafts and causing headaches lol

Re: Dana 60 rear axle question

The other options are good too but if it were me I'd call Moser and tell them you need a stock axle for blank blank blank. Then it will show up in a couple days and they will be perfect.

Re: Dana 60 rear axle question

I don't think Moser makes 8 lug axles

Sure they do, they recently made me some custom ones for a D70HD. I do have quite a few used shafts, this is a full float right?

Re: Dana 60 rear axle question

I have the same issue, need a pair of shafts for a D60, I'm leaning toward Dutchman axles over others (Yukon you have to cut to fit). They make them to order, for $305.00 you can get a pair in 1540 which is stronger than stock (the shaft will be about as strong as a stock 35 spline 60) $170.00 for a single. Don't know about lead time or shipping.

Re: Dana 60 rear axle question

Moser did make full floaters at one time, I had them make a few sets for some Eatons a few years ago.
