72 C20 Brake Hose Help

I am looking to replace the front hoses on my 720 C20 2wd front disc 350 coil spring truck, as well as the rear hose that sits on top of the rear end and splits to the metal lines for my rear drums.

I found the fronts from a couple of distributors - anyone have any input on good or bad experience with any company in particular?

I need help finding the rear hose. The same distributors I mentioned above have the hose for other variations of the truck (leaf springs, big block, 4wd, etc) but not mine specifically. Pic attached. Anyone have any lead on this part?

NAPA Ultra Premium Brake Parts
Comments: w/ Rear Coil Springs;w/ 127" Wheelbase
Part # UP 36542

That's what I come up with checking my NAPA account. Shows 80 something of them all over the states at various distribution centers. If that doesn't work for you, pull the line and take it up to a hydraulic shop near you and they will be able to set you up.

Thanks for the reply. Mine appears to have the distribution block built into the brake hose. Am i missing something here? Surely someone sells this hose

Re: 72 C20 Brake Hose Help

Looking at gmcpauls, he has every rear hose imaginable except a 72 c20 coil spring small block truck. There are apparently many different hoses for the C20s, any idea why?

Re: 72 C20 Brake Hose Help

I don't think they make them. I've looked everywhere and just last week had some stainless fronts made using a pre-made 10 inch hose and banjo fittings and fitting for other end. I had to use a washer behind the fitting that went to the bracket to get the clip to stay put. My rear hose was pretty good with almost no cracking so I re-used it. You could probably use a separate dist block and a hose that screwed into it. There is another thread and I looked at NAPA for all the ones listed and they did not fit period. Mike

Re: 72 C20 Brake Hose Help

This may not be what you are looking for but I needed extra long hoses for my lowered truck. I found a guy on Ebay called Brake Hoses Unlimited . His seller name is goodbrakes. They make custom DOT brake lines. I just email him to get a replacement line for one of his original lines that I damaged. Has been good to work with and I have no relationship to him.

Raybestos BH36684 is what I think you are looking for. Found this just now on Rockauto website.

This visibly looks as close as I have seen, however it shows 18" in length and I know that is too long.

I went ahead and bought one, We shall see!

Thanks for the replies everyone
