67, 72, 48 Axle Swap / Musical axles(chairs)

First post for me...love this site. Been reading and returning for months if not years. Now I have a couple projects that can get me more involved

OK..I have been reading a lot on axles and swapping. I have a project going at the moment...a 67 2wd Long Box. I have a line on a 72 parts truck with all the front suspension for a 5 lug disc setup along with the rear diff.
In addition, the next project is my 48 chevy 5 window SB truck.
Here is my plan...can someone confirm this will work.

1-Transplant the front disc setup to the 67 from the 72. This should be straight forward. I assume ill have to move everything across, not just the spindles.

2- Swap the 72 rear axle into the the 67 so that the front and rear is 5 bolt and not a 5 lug front with 6 lug rear. axles are different length, so an axle swap isnt ideal..and probably not any easier anyways.

3- I can now use the 67 6 lug rear into my 48 chevy truck to match the 6 bolt front. I will be doing a Mustang2 style front in the truck, and I can choose 6 bolt rotors just as easy as 5 bolts.

Im thinking this is a good way to go to make the best use of what I have.
Thoughts?
