Anyone have a 2wd lower arm balljoint to hand?

If anyone has a new or used lower control arm balljoint that would be correct in a '79 C10, please could they measure the length of the taper?

I am having a pain with the lower control arm balljoints, in as much as I think I have the wrong ones - I fitted new when I refurbished the arms but like a total donut didn't keep the old ones to double check against the new ones. Below shows how far the balljoints go in before refusing to go any further. When I trial fitted the drop spindles and drop springs on the old balljoints they fitted no problem.....

I just removed my control arms with original balljoints. I can get you some pics and measurements today.

I don't have mine on hand but they did seem to be a skinnier taper than what you have there.

Here's a couple pics. I actually had a set of spare knuckles as well so I took a picture of it on the balljoint. It's just loose but it still seems to seat further than yours.

Hope that helps.
