s10 C-Notch?
Is it necessary to use a 8" c-notch when bagging the s10 chassis? It appears that an 8" notch is the standard when bagging the s10 chassis. Has anyone done anything other than an 8" notch.
I want to bag my s10/AD project but don't really want to raise the bed floor all that high. |

Re: s10 C-Notch?
the last time you asked this question, I asked how you would set the frame up and what size tires you would be running. unfortunately, you still need to know that for anyone to help. it probably doesnt seem fair that you need to know this before you order parts, but you do.
if you set the frame level with the bottom of the running boards, you will need a bigger notch than if you set the frame up inside the body a bit and make the running boards the lowest part of the truck. if you run a 31" rear tire you will need a larger notch than you will for a 28" rear tire. last time you asked, I told you to measure to the center of your wheel and add 4 inches. measure up from the bottom of the rear fender that distance, that is where your bed floor will be.
