Original Med. Olive bucket seat covers

I have a set of original Med Olive bucket seat covers removed from a set of buckets that i had purchased a while back. The buckets were removed from a motorhome and are in fairly decent shape. Each cover needs at least 1 panel replaced. I also have a matching original dash pad as well. I have alot of pictures, i just wanted to detail each cover. The worst piece is obviously the drivers side lower portion.

i was thinking $150 OBO shipped for the covers. I have no idea what they are worth so this is a starting point. If i am way out of line, by all means let me know. Just dont want these to get any worse or lost when i move in a few months. Thanks

Here is the first piece. I belive this to be the driver side lower piece. As you can see it is worn from sliding in and out of the truck, but seems to be in great shape other than the edge. The rest of it is still pliable and not brittle.

Re: Original Med. Olive bucket seat covers

Here is seat base number 2. this is the passenger side. This one only have minor flaws. Perfect for a driver truck. Nothing too major.

BTW i am showing closeups with the DUPONT logo on them. I cant imagine the aftermarket covers have the dupont logo.

Re: Original Med. Olive bucket seat covers

Here is piece 3, seat back number 1. I believe this was the passenger side back. The only damage i can see is where the top of the seat would have been in the back window. there is a small tear.

Re: Original Med. Olive bucket seat covers

Here is piece 4, seat back number 2. This appears to have been the drivers side back piece. It has damage on the corner from sliding in and out of the truck. This piece is different on the back as the material has some red foam instead of the DUPONT white that the other 3 had. It does have a date stamped on it of APR 26 1971, so i dont know why it was different than the other 3.

Re: Original Med. Olive bucket seat covers

And finally the dash pad. It has a couple small cracks in the back portion that would have been facing the windshield, and the rear edge that was facing the window is slightly brittle as well. Overall this is in great shape for an original piece. I really have no idea on a price for this, and i really hate to ship it because i can imagine how beat up it would get in the process.

That's just plain old "Olive". Medium and Dark Olive are paint colors. Not trying to be picky, just educational

Yeah, I see that too. And there was a straight-up green in the Custom trim level in '72 (not sure on '71). That is hard to find stuff in good condition. Most want to upgrade, but for a correct restoration it should be a hot item to find good pieces. I like the rare and unusual/hard to find stuff so when I see "green" I hop to it! Then I see olive. Hey, ain't hatin' on olive, just sayin.

Nice pieces there. I have no need or I'd...

Ok, class dismissed. Hey Larry, thanks for the apple but your "D" remains!
