82 gmc shift linkage -pics ?

im putting a 82 gmc truck together w/ a 88-350 and od auto trans -need a pic of the automatic shift linkage -between the trans lever and frame ! trying to use a 1988 {square} one from donor truck -seems too wide ? {maybe we got the oddball wrong part in our parts pile ?}

I have had several different auto trans in my 82 . I always used the 82 factory linkage on all of them . Just have to use the 82 linkage bracket on the trans . I even have a ls trans in it now with the oem linkage . I did have to tweak it a little for the ls but works fine . I dont have a picture right now , but if need I can get one if you dont have to 82 linkage to try .
