Well, I bit the bullet and ordered thier Hurricane kit and it should arrive Monday. I will be taking pictures and documenting all the installation. Leave feedback if you have any.

I am about 80% done with my Old Air Hurricane system for my 72. So far everything has been pretty straightforward and fits nicely. It really cleans up the firewall nicely. The only thing that I had to tweek was the receiver dryer aluminum lines in the front by the condensor. I had to maybe bend them with my thumb about a 1/4" to make sure they dont hit each other. No problem....heck it even says that you might have to do that in the instructions. Only thing I have left to do is install the pressure and return lines and charge the system.

I used Old-Air and had no problems that they would not help me with.

Just bought the old air kit for my 71 c10. On the inside where the provided plate goes does it just sit up against those raised areas where old heater unit was or did you grind that lip down

Hope you like it. I will be removing mine this winter and installing a original ac system. I have had problems with it fogging up the entire inside of my cab when going from ac to heat. Old air has been no help at all to fix the problem

That thing hangs way down low under the dash. Does it not affect the glove box or something?
