Wheel removal

It may sound silly ,but i cant remove the last wheel of my truck,like if its welded, i pounded on it from the inside out,with no luck .any suggestions?

Might try pulling the hub with the wheel so you can lay it down then put some penetrating oil around the rim and the hub so it can soak for a bit.

Yeah, pull the hub and make it easier to beat it off.

Soak the lugs in PB blaster, then use a bigger hammer and rotate the wheel a few times. Not kidding. Or remove with hub as pointed out - but, personally, I'd rather try to get that wheel separated from the hub while the weight of the truck is still attached to the hub.

With lugs loosened just enough to see a couple of threads, try driving slowly around the block--if it needs that much driving. May need to make some sharp turns. Take along jack & wrench to tighten lugs for when it does break loose.

This is said to work great.

PB Blaster and Aerokroil both work well. They appear to be very similar chemicals.

If you take the hub off and try to beat it out, be careful not to mess up the face of the hub. I distorted both of the front hubs on my C20 pressing the super rusted-on drums off, and now the damn dust caps won't go back on the center.

I usually use a board and a small sledge hammer to shock a wheel loose that is stuck to the hub/drum/whatever.

Luvbowties has the right idea. I would try loosening the lug nuts first.
