Not my truck (if it was, it would not be for sale). Check this out.

I agree! It's crazy it was still in service and is still in such great shape!

Nice find and thanks for sharing it! I wonder who got it? It looks like that video was from November '14.

Fire departments take meticulous care of their vehicles, that thing is as clean underneath as it is above. I'll bet this truck was for someone special, probably a captain. I would love to have it!

Re: Youtube C10 find: you will love this!

I have never seen a maroon steering wheel without at least one crack in it...ever. For me, that was worth the price of admission alone but add the seat, door panels, armrest and dash pad and its like winning the trifecta.

Thanks for posting that. Looks to be in a collection judging by the other trucks in the garage.

Thanks for sharing! Just a few thoughts... I know I would have had a very hard time giving that truck up if I were a member of the Fire Dept. that gave it up.. I personally think it would be such a shame to restore that truck, especially to any other form other than what it is. I'm a sap for history, I'm sure that truck has seen plenty...

How could you restore that? It's already in mint condition....

We should be calling this a K10 right?

Emblem is a "C/10," was it originally a 2wd and was then converted to 4wd?

Re: Youtube C10 find: you will love this!

Unfortunately all of the four wheel drives had C badges. My father's 70 has a "four wheel drive" emblem and a C/20 emblem on the same fender.

Of all the lame things Chevrolet did with these trucks! Not even primer on the underside of the cowl or inside of fenders, windshield washer pump under the dash, "C" emblems on factory 4wd's........ "Because reasons."
