1972 C20 - OEM wheel and center cap?
I have a 72 C20 2wd base model truck and was wondering what the original wheels and center caps looked like on this truck? The wheels i have now are oem dodge wheels (16") with beauty rings, with chevy centers, I think the center caps may be for a 73+ truck?

Re: 1972 C20 - OEM wheel and center cap?
Base models used painted caps and bumpers, unless they were optioned with chrome caps and bumpers. These trucks had blue painted bowties on caps matching the blue bowtie on grills. 16" one piece did not exist yet on '72 C 20's, they used 16.5". Later model 16" will work as long as they have bumps for 12" caps.

No, the '69 thru '75 3/4 ton chrome or stainless caps ( up to '78 for the painted ) are not repoped, you have to search for them. The flat style aluminum that you have came out in '76 on deluxe models and standard on every C 20 starting in '79, used up till the late 80's ( up till 90's on some models and vans) are very common, but do not match the styling of these trucks.
