Smile Hello.

Hi everyone.

I am currently putting a 49 chevrolet 3600 truck back together.

It has been in cardboard boxes since the early 80ties. And it consists of a mostly complete car, put together from different cars. Front fenders from one car, hood from another, and the bed from a third car, the cab from a fourth car.

The bed is from a Shortbed car, but i stretched it so it now fits the long bed chassis. That gives me some challenge with the running boards, but i assume that i will sort that out, i have a few ideas.
I have, due to itīs many different parts named it "The Frankensteintruck"..

It still have the 239 blue flame six engine and four speed tranny, it runs great, and will stay in the car.

I Intend to have it inspected, and on the road for the 2017 season, and it will be used for work and daily driving in the dry periods.

I Live in Denmark BTW.

Progress is for now, Hinge pockets and lower cowl in drivers side repaired for rust, now working on the passengers side., wich is better then drivers side. bed back together, with a few new parts, homemade of course. front piece of bed made from old OK oil drum, redneck style.

I need a few parts, and will be searcing for it in the correct sections of this site.
