Anyone bought a houndstooth seat cover from Stockinteriors.com?

I was shopping for dark blue carpet for my 68 C10 and happened to look at their seat upholstery options. To my suprise they show multiple colors of vinyl with cloth houndstooth inserts at very reasonable prices.

Has anyone ever bought one of these covers from them? Are they a good quality cover? Have any pictures? I think they are made by acmeautoheadlining.com

I haven't but I see that you can ask them to send you free samples of the material(s) and color you need. I am going to send them a request now for my houndstooth bench seat.

The site says $230 in price. Same price as all their vinyl covers. I am asking for pictures of the black and white houndstooth and will post pictures if I get them.

Anyone bought one of these covers? I'm about to pull the trigger on a blue with blue and black houndstooth.

I have samples of the fabric sitting in my Mail box in Montana. I'm up in Canada so I couldn't get it shipped here or I'd let you know. I'll be able to let you know in about 2 weeks the quality but that's the soonest I'll get a chance to see.

Have you checked out board member truckseats? The Blazer in post #3 has what you are looking for I think: http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...d.php?t=532345

I've bought Truck World built seat covers(which is what Truck Seats sells I think)and they are awesome quality but cost $350 or more? These are $230.

Pulled the trigger on carpet and a blue with blue and black houndstooth seat cover for my 68 C10. Never did hear from anyone if they had experience with the acme seat covers? I guess I'll be the guinea pig? I'll let you know if they are worth buying or not. Fingers crossed.

Have you received your cover yet? I finally was able to go get my samples and they looked to be good colour and of high quality. Keep us updated when you receive them how it looks. Attached is a picture of the samples I ordered.

Re: Anyone bought a houndstooth seat cover from Stockinteriors.com?

I got the cover on Monday. It seems to be a good quality cover. I think the vinal is a little thicker/ higher quality on the Truck World seat cover. Then again it is $100 more and I was told by Truck World that the fawn material costs more than most of the other materials.

If you are looking for black/white houndstooth material, your local upholstery shop and/or fabric store will have it at MUCH less than any online vendor or parts supplier.

Re: Anyone bought a houndstooth seat cover from Stockinteriors.com?

I think a houndstooth bench seat cover shipped to my door for $258 is a pretty good buy?

Got it installed as well as the ACC carpet kit, new dash pad, sun visors, pedal covers, dome lamp, wing window hardware... you get the idea.

Re: Anyone bought a houndstooth seat cover from Stockinteriors.com?

I think these ACME seat covers from Stockinteriors.com are pretty good quality and will work well for a 71-72 seat frame with foam. I found the bottom of the seat cover to be a good fit to my 68's seat frame after adding some foam. The back portion of the cover is a VERY tight fit over the early frame. The early frames seem slightly wider than the later frames. Also, you have to thicken up the upper 6" or so of the back to fill out the cover.

Re: Anyone bought a houndstooth seat cover from Stockinteriors.com?

UPDATE: Just got off the phone with Stockinteriors.com and they have added a $65 up charge on the bench seat covers with houndstooth inserts. With shipping charges makes the seat cover $325 +/-. At the old price of $258 the quality of the cover was ok. At $325 I'd recommend spend a few $ more and get a higher quality material cover like the ones Truck World or Truckseats offer.
