A cool addition
I found this little jem tonight and will be ordering one tomorrow. O-Reilly's has them and maybe other's. If your like me and want the AC to run at it's best all the time this may prove to be a great devise.
It's a add on trainary switch that will turn the compressor off before it over pressurizes the system. Best part is you don't have to take anything loose to mount it!  http://www.oreillyauto.com/site/c/de...1962&ppt=C0328

good find Andy, it mentions R12 do you think it will work on the converted R134? I couldn't remember if the ports are the same. I thought there was something different about them. I need to do this, I have the standard low pressure shut off but never added the high side and have worried about it.

Here is a cool diagram for the wiring of the trinary switch Andy. It has a couple of options for a manual switch and also the part number for a Trinary switch that cuts off on the low and high pressure sides.
