Chances are that they are cheap Chinese junk, like most all reproduction parts are now. You might be better off trying to find a good used OEM one.

I bought a rebuild kit from LMC including a new sticker that covers the face, not to bad. The levers are actually better than the original cast ones, they're made out of steel and went together perfectly.

I wish I had ordered a new switch as well, mine was dirty and not making a good connection so I ended up taking the switch apart and cleaning the contacts.

Re: New heater control panel quality??

Thanks guys. There is a Car Shop/Truck Shop about 20 mins from the house. They said they had one. I think I'm going to ride down there Friday and get it in my hands and try to determine then it it feels like junk or decent quality. I would prefer to just put a new one in if it's not junk

Hey Airspeed, how did you dis-assemble it and pit it back together! I bought a rebuild kit also, but the levers look like it's riveted together!

Re: New heater control panel quality??

The one at Truck Shop is nice, seemed like a quality piece so I just bought it and installed it.
