Who has custom hood hinges?
Does anyone have custom hood hinges on their truck? Pictures would be nice, and what type of hinge did you use? Thanks

I have seen a truck on here that has some mercedes CLK hinges on it. Does anyone know what year and model they came off of.

saw this as well:
Driver's side (208 750 03 28) Passenger side (208 750 04 28) customer pay is $128.25 each plus tax. Fits 1998-2003 (or 2005 depending on coupe or cabrio) CLK 320, 430, 55.

I have a set from Ringbrothers. Bolted right on, hood closes the same every time. Priced kinda salty, but I got tired of trying to fit the constantly changing body lines.

This is the best picture I have of my Eddie Motorsports Billet Aluminum Hinges with the Gas Shocks... When I get the truck back from Patterson Racing (getting the Final Tune done on it) I will get a better pic of it...

I actually have one of those hinges laying in my shop. But I did not get it until after I built this from scratch. I just thought it out and built it.....

I have some hinges I bought on ebay from a seller called reneeslife1 which are the original hinges, chrome powder coated. They look great in my opinion. unfortunately these are the only pics I have right now, I'll try and remember to snap another later.

I just purchased a refurbished set as well from eBay - here is a pic. My friend also has a set like this, and they look awesome. Thought about the billet ones mentioned above, but they will not work in my circumstance with the heater box on the firewall.
