Front clip removal

Can the front clip (grille assembly) be installed or removed without taking the fender off? 1969 c10 .Thanks

Yes but you will have to remove the bumper first because it covers the bottom portion of the grille.

Of course, 4 bolts into fender each side, 2 top and 2 bottom. Then remove the center support or unbolt the bottom and then the hood latch. Takes some effort to free it but you wont damage it.

Agreed on the bumper otherwise its tough to get it out from behind it.

Front clip used to be fenders hood and everything forward.
