New truck need help with loose wires. Think for trans

I just picked up a new 85 k10. Loving it so far but found a few loose wires and can't find where they go and I have looked everywhere. Here is what I have found. I have a male connector with a yellow and blue wire. I have traced them down to the transmission wire harness. The yellow wire comes from the transmission to the connector and then there is a blue wire that then goes back up the firewall and either goes into the cab or the vacuum switch. I can't tell. The more I thought about it I am not sure I have my TC locking up. I just don't know what the wires are. The blue has 12v with key in acc position. The truck did have cruise control at one time. Is this the power feed to the transmission and if so what was the connector plugged in at one time to connect the circuit? Thanks
