Master Cylinder Help
I have a 1971 GMC K15 and the master cylinder is not level, is that normal? The fluid level is higher in the front of both chambers. Any help would be great.

It annoys me too, is there a way to fix it, like spacers or something using the stock bracket or another bracket all together?

I just always assumed that as long as you were getting a seal on the system and no air that it didn't matter

Does anyone have a Master cylinder/Booster setup that is level and used for disk/drum trucks like my 71 GMC. I am not after the exact original equipment deal, just a setup where when mounted remains level.

Well just because I have never had a vehicle that when you took the top off the master cylinder to check the fluid level and the back of the bowl is 1/2" from the top and the front is touching the top, they say it should be 1/4" from the top but which end if they made it that way. It just doesn't look right to me, that's just my opinion.

All GM cars and trucks had M/C's that were tilted back.
Water off a duck. You'll pull your hair out trying to find something that will sit level without some custom aftermarket gizmo. Gary
