I Swear It's Killing Me !! LOL

Picked up a nice one owner 51 this weekend and I'm trying to decide which way to go on the front end. Part of me wants to go IFS and part of me wants to go with a Sid's drop axle with disc brakes..

There's alot of choices and I don't mind spending the coin, but I really can't decide what I really need or what questions I should really be asking myself to make the decision..

I do know it'll just be a town cruiser with a LS and 4l60e. Don't wanna go fast really, just want to be able to boil some tires now and again.. LOL

Re: I Swear It's Killing Me !! LOL

For a town cruiser I would go with Sids and discs, just because I like the look of old school straight axles. Also basically a bolt in application unless you want to add power steering box, which adding the LS engine will probably dictate anyway. Upgrade the rear with later model with discs and the right gears for voiding any warranties and your are good to go. I'd stick with old school rear leaf springs but add a sway bar and wheel hop bars.
