Re: Ouch ! AD truck
It looks like something may have fallen or blown off a truck and hit it.
At least it looks like a reasonably easy repair and it will be out on the road again.

Re: Ouch ! AD truck
Could of even been stuff in the garage if it hit the work bench and back wall but You may have come the closest with mail box and fence row Whitedog76.

Re: Ouch ! AD truck
Methinks the broken side window was caused by the driver's head. Not so good...

Re: Ouch ! AD truck
Working for Metro out here I can tell you for sure that was the driver's head. I've seen too many. It's instinct even in the face of certain death to turn away from the train about to kill you, the the car collapses like a Dixie cup and the driver is driven HARD away from the force the train delivers. Ugh, NOT a good way to go.

Re: Ouch ! AD truck
Not much to do on Vashon but drink beer and scope the internet when the weather is nasty.
1500 sounds like a lot of money on the green truck but you start looking at the good parts and it isn't that bad of a deal. I could use a lot of that in my build but I am down in Southern Oregon headed home and I doubt that truck will last the day without being sold as someone else will see a lot of parts there that they need and can use. Pass side windshield was most likely because the guy didn't want to put seat belts in the truck "because they ruin the vintage look". Wife's head hit it in the wreck.

Re: Ouch ! AD truck
From the looks of my yard after I got home from vacation tonight that could have happened in my yard. Branches everywhere and stuff blown around. I'll have a big cleanup on aisle 7 tomorrow.
