Is this a rare option or add on?

In this 67 that I'm getting the guage cluster speedo indicator there's another rare thing. There is some type of switch or lever for lowering the spare tire!! I've never seen this before!! And,
Yes the truck is factory blue with vermillion red. I read the glove box door!!

It could be speed warning. I was told they were offered on the early models
Never seen one myself

If it is a speed warning, then it is quite rare. B

Sounds like a speed warning...almost common on the bigger trucks, discontinued in 70. Annoying once you get past the neat factor. Sounds worse than the seat belt reminder in modern cars.

is there a white needle in the speedo? if there is, then it is a speed warning and you got yourself a pretty uncommon option
