Right Hand Drive
Has anybody ever seen the right hand drive model's have any pic's of one??? I wonder what shuck's would say if ya asked for a steering box for one????? Are these truck's for real or just a myth???

I have actually seen and touched one. I didn't have a camera with me. I wrote down all the options but I have no idea where that piece of paper is now. I checked it out pretty good and it was no conversion. It was a plain snb truck. The guy wanted $1500 but it was very rusty. So they do exist.

There are a whole bunch of pictures of rhd stuff in the assembly manual. I wouldnt mind getting a wiper cowl off of one of those trucks.

i have never seen one in our trucks personally but have heard of them, though do know that it is very confusing to drive on the highway, my friend has an old postal jeep very fun but hard to drive

The steering box is a car unit. Instead of fitting on the inside of a LHD car frame it fits on the outside of a RHD truck frame. I've never seen one either.
Driving on the wrong side is easy after a little practice. The good visibilty with these trucks helps.

I saw one several years ago at a used car lot. 69 or 70 model it was in pretty bad shape. The guy at the lot told me it was aussie made.

Trust me, driving a car on the "wrong" side of the road is easy. You get used to looking down the inside of cars ahead before you pass them rather than down the outside, although the extra height of a truck helps too. My only problem is I do occasionally try to get into the passenger seat of my wifes RHD Cherokee when she's already in there!

I knoiw what you mean LippyP. When living in Japan, having both American/Local vehicles I found myself many a mornings jumping in them to go to work and suddenly realizing I lost the steering wheel. OH well I ment to do it....rummage thru the glove box in case anyone saw you get in the wrong side.
