New to the forum and on a quest

Hello and thank you for the add. I'm not a vintage GM owner but I once was. 11 years ago, I had a lapse in judgement and sold my 1971 GMC 2500 pickup that I had inherited from my great grandpa. I sold it to a gentleman from CA. He flew to WI and drove it back, through the mountains, to CA. Now that I'm older, I appreciate old quality, simplicity and family history a bit more. Plus I have a son of my own who loves old pickup trucks. Especially those with a tire on the front and a topper. I have begun a quest to track down this old truck and bring it home. (pending darling wife's blessing). Maybe one of you will be able to help me find it. Maybe one of you own it!
