'67 C/10 Custom Camper 402

I just purchased this truck. Looks like stock BB. Can't find any literature on BB's in 1/2 tons for '67 model year. Nor anything on 1/2 T Custom Camper. Any help would be appreciated. Thnx.

Nice truck. Yours could be my trucks little brother, mines a C20. As far as the bbc, that engine wasn't available in 67. The largest ci you could order was 327 until 68, then the 396/402 was available.

Yes, that's where everything is leading. No BB's in '67. Everything is there showing this is an exception. Maybe a special order? Camper units are to be c/20's as well. I know that no mater what I win. This is a great PU for playing with. I didn"t want to canabalize somethin special.

Re: '67 C/10 Custom Camper 402

I don't blame you there. Unfortunately, the original 327 in my truck was gone long before I got it. As far as the BBC in your truck, there should be numbers on the block that will tell you what year it is. The emissions sticker on it also depicts 68 or newer as emissions were not required in 67. Hope all this helps, nice truck and have fun!

Today I learned the history of my new toy. One owner, engine swap to BB, TH 400 and 12bolt rear in 1986. With that said I know I won't be messing with history by doing mods.
