Question Tunnel ram on trucks...

Hi , Has anyone fitted up a tunnel ram on there truck?

i have a big block in my 63 and distributor fitment is almost impossible,,It had a mallory unilite in it but to remove i had to take of tunnel ram which isnt fun..

im thinking about a small body msd dizzy?

Has anyone had an issue with distributor fitment between manifold and firewall.?

Even f your big block is in the original small block location, there should be plenty of room for a standard cap distributor. There should be room for a HEI distributor. However with a tunnel ram, that does complicate the installation and removal. Can you remove just the top of the manifold to gain easier access? Maybe if you post a picture, we can see better what your issue is. I will have to say though, that not many people run tunnel rams in these trucks.

as you can see i cant remove dist without ram coming off.. has anyone used the msd small body dist #8507 ?

Yes , i cant remove dizzy without removing the tunnel ram, a real pita ! maybe time to go to a more sedate setup.. It runs great though !

You've got no heater so likely easy access under the dash. Make an access door or cover so you can get at it from behind.
