Body mount
I working on replacing the body mounts on my 78 2wd. On the body mount location on the bed floor nearest the axle, is there supposed to be any support structure on the underside of the bedfloor or does the body go directly underneath the bed floor? My truck has had previous patchwork, trying to get it back together in a decent manner.

There is a reinforcement there, but it appears to be just a square piece of steel slightly larger than the mount tacked flush on the body. My 79 is filthy underneath, so I took pictures under my 85 as well. The mount appears to be nearly the same. These are inside the frame rails. Sorry I'm late with them, and if you need a different angle LMK.
