How critical is it to have the output shaft centered to frame? After measureing I found that mine is 5/16" off center to the left going towards the left rear. With the pinion being offset to the right of center I was wondering about the lateral angle of the driveshaft...thanks Ed

I'm still searching for anything out of whack that could be causing this clutch chatter or drive-line shutter, thanks for you response...

I had read that the pinion was offset to the right approx. 3/4" and being that the tranny was offset to the left approx. 5/16" making this about 1" O.A. I'm still searching...

U-joints should take care of that with no problem.
