Re: Abercrombie & Fitch ad (C10 content, I swear)
No there's no embossed area on the grille for the front Bow Tie. The Bow Tie unit is cut out on the back to fit around the molded profile of the grille bar.
They might've airbrushed it or photoshopped the emblems out, but you have no idea the lengths or expense some ad agencies will go to for an 'art' effect. Also depends on whether it's a simple print ad or a live action commercial.

![]() My point was, it would be a lot of metal work to modify such a stock looking truck, hence it appears photoshopped.

![]() Photoshopping would be the most cost-effective solution, but you can't imagine the ad agency mindset. It would be nothing to them to buy a straight truck fron Barret-Jackson, then have Chuck Barris detail it for them w/o Chevy badges [GM not being their client, no free plugs] just for an ad shoot.

Re: Abercrombie & Fitch ad (C10 content, I swear)
If I knew this was going to turn into a debate over whether or not the truck was photo shopped I would have taken a closer look at the banner in the window
![]() The other thing I noticed on it is that it appears to have pinstriping but it does not line up at all going from the cab to the bed. I wonder what that's about Now the next question is, who's truck is it!

Re: Abercrombie & Fitch ad (C10 content, I swear)
We have an answer! I searched around their website again and came across another version of the ad. This one is a screen capture from a cheesy video ad they made which shows the truck for a brief second and is not photo shopped. You can clearly see all emblems (and license plate) are present. In the photo shopped picture, it almost looked like the lights running across the front edge of the hood were strung across the tops of the letters and one side was hanging down, suspended by the E or V. Sure enough, that is the case! Funny how they got the 10 emblem on the side but missed the hubcaps.
