Made it to the track!
Well, its been a while since Ive been to the track. A group of my friends were headed down and asked if i would join them.
So I dusted off the helmet and dug deep into my closet to get my racing jacket out and headed out. I think I fit right in. I got tech'd in and dude didnt even look under the hood as I put 4.3 in the "what engine are you running" spot. Little did he know... I guess I could have at least washed it. Found a good spot to put my Run card so I dont lose it. Made two runs that night. Easing off the line, then hammering down, banging gears, pedaling the throttle through 3rd with a lot of wheel hopping and spinning. Finally into 4th and then the magic happened. The ole truck pulled like a freight train!! Holy Crap it was good!!! The Blower was whining and the engine noise was so sweet to the ears! Pulling to the top of 4th at the stripe, I was rewarded with some killer mph! 111 in the 1/4!! I knew the rest of the run wouldn't reflect what power it makes. But those that know, mph tells a good story of what its doing. Im pretty happy with it. I know I could get my ET down with some slicks, but I built it as a Driver, not a track truck. But Im pretty sure Ill be down at the track again.

Re: Made it to the track!
4.10 gears and a 6 speed make it VERY fun to drive on the streets.
