Aluminum Drive Shaft Questions
I picked up a free aluminum drive shaft from a mid 1990s pickup. If I can use it, I'll have to get it shortened & rebalanced.
It has two blisters along cracks in the plastic cover. Can I just cut the cover off? |

Re: Aluminum Drive Shaft Questions
Is this driveshaft made entirely out of aluminum or is it a composite tube with the aluminum ends?

The exposed ends are aluminum. It has black plastic from about 1 foot on either end. It's about 5 inches in diameter if that helps. Last edited by Blue666(2); 11-05-2016 at 11:45 PM. Reason: Additional info |
