redrilling axle and spindles

Anyone ever had axle and spindles redrilled to 5 bolt instead of 6 bolt pattern?

Yes you can but it will involve welding up some of the old holes.

I had the rear axles re-drilled 6 to 5 on the '69 Suburban and it worked out well.
