stepside bedside meaurements

Hey guys I am in the middle of restoring a 59. It was a long bed I cut down to a short bed. I am looking to do the same to the bedsides I have instead of buying new ones. I'm having trouble finding the exact dimensions of step side short bed. Does anybody have these measurements? Any help is greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
Brian

Scroll down this page a bit and the first drawing you get to is the stepside and below the drawing are the measurements. Save the link as you will no doubt go back to info there time and again. https://www.gmheritagecenter.com/doc...olet-Truck.pdf

Re: stepside bedside meaurements

I have my fenders on so cant give the exact measurements shown in the pic.
But can give you the measurements for :
from front of bedside bottom to fender=13-5/8"
from rear of fender to rear cross sill at bedside bottom =3-1/2"

Should be able to put your fender in place and get the measurements needed. Hope that helps you out.

Re: stepside bedside meaurements

Hey guys thanks for the info and help. Mr. 48, I 've seen these drawings, but they just give you overall dimensions, not the individual ones fore and aft of the fender, I'll double check in case I missed something. I should be able to mount my fender and use the measurements Warrior provided to lay things out.

Thanks again guys I appreciate the help!

Re: stepside bedside meaurements

Have to wake up one of the TF guy and get them to measure their short bed in those spots as I have never seen measurements for AD or TF trucks in those areas on the net. Should be but I haven't found them yet if they exist.
