I know the 81 dash bezel won,t fit on a 80 dash but if you have the 81 dash cover will it fit on the 1980 cab and then the 81 dashbezel will work or is a whole nother beast.

Yes if you change the bezel and dash pad it will work fine. You could try the 81 bezel on the 80 dash and it might work as well. Probably just look a little out of place. Other have done it both ways.

thanks I need a new dash anyway.The 78 stuff is hard to find but the 81,s are plentiful and I,ve picked up 3 gauges bezels and gauges for nothing and one even had a tach.

There is one goofy clip on the driver's side of the dash pad that is different, I think most people that do the swap just leave that clip out.
