Re: High RPM on highway

Ok, I got it right this time. 2700 rpm is 70mph, verified by GPS that the speedo is accurate within about 1mph. Is this about right? I have to serve as an election judge tomorrow, so I have to hit the hay early, just wanted to share a quick update. Thanks everyone!

Re: High RPM on highway

I wonder if it's really going into O.D., the calculator shows a 5.17 rear gear ratio using the same tire dia. and a trans ratio of .70. A 1-1 ratio third gear looks like about a 3.60 rear ratio. I just find it odd that it would have a 5++.1 rear gear.

Re: High RPM on highway

Checking the gear ratio is easy and we can't know what's right until you do that and pass that into along
