Re: 47-48 chevy panel
Tim, I am sure that has been done. And I was talking to a buddy this week who has a 49 truck a po put on one of those frames. He said the track width was too wide to look good though it drives ok.

Re: 47-48 chevy panel
Hello;
The wheel base is like only 1' different. I have try to measure the with of the front end(47-50 chevy) as compaired to the 78 chevy pu front end. I got some pic of the panel . Was going to try n use reg 6' ralley wheels ( they set back in over the break system. Had to go to the 6' wheels on my 95 chevy afer dropping the front end to stop the pushing in corners. Have the doors (ft n rear) T-P Auto Tim |

Re: 47-48 chevy panel
hello;
Found out the panel truck has a AZ title n the owner wants 500.00 for the title. So have back off the total deal. I really think the guy that has the panel is trying to get more out of the deal or has someone else looking at the panel. I just don't do business that way. He did say he would take an offer on the truck. I really think that the best would be to just walk away from the deal. T-P Auto Tim |

Re: 47-48 chevy panel
Too bad they are doing business that way. Walk away and they might come back to the price they were asking before.....if not, there is always another one out there somewhere.
Tim, are you driving the truck? Been repairing lawn mowers this year? |

Re: 47-48 chevy panel
Does the parts truck have the drivers side fresh air vent? Id like a whole assembly cut out to add to my 51 GMC.
