Vanschoyck MetalWorks & Artistry-saying hello!
Hello everyone! My name is Brando vanschoyck, I'm from southeastern Kentucky and I've been looking at this site for years! Figured it was time for me to start posting here since about 3 months ago I acquired a 67 c10 long bed for $50! I've started tearing into it and this site has helped me so much! This is a way to say thank you guys so much!!! A little about me, I'm a competitive powerlifter/strongman for the last 14 years, I'm an artist, a musician, a blacksmith, and a new and learning metal fabricator. I am trying to start my own metal-working/artistry business called Vanschoyck MetalWorks & Artistry. I have tons of pics on my FB page under the same name. I am engaged to the love of my life who is so gorgeous, and get this----she welds, and helps me with my c10!!! She's also a powerlifter! She's my hero! When we first met she couldn't walk (she has lupus and necrosis of the hip, arthritis etc) and now she is closing in on a 300lb squat/deadlift along with bench pressing 135 for reps at a bodyweight of a really lean 130lbs! Well there's my introduction! I am going to try to post some pics/progress of the c10 if I can figure out how! Thanks for your time everyone and God Bless!

Welcome Brando!
That's gotta be one of the most interesting intros I've read. I'm sure you'll fit in just fine here.

passenger side all welded up. the only tools I've used so far on the frame work is an angle grinder, a stick welder, and some E6011 electrodes!

Welcome aboard. You scored for $50! Heck, you can get your money back on just the horn button. Good luck with the project.

Thanks so much! I'm super excited about this, I've always wanted one of these 67's! Also, this is my first build by myself! I'm so pumped to be part of this awesome board! I'm sure I'll have plenty questions for everyone along the way! I'll post up more pics this evening when I get home!

Hey, Brando, wanted to stop you before you spend too much time with all the pics.
You're posting in the wrong section of the forum for this stuff. You need to go here: http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/forumdisplay.php?f=3 and start a new thread.
