Need some expert advice on my 79 Tailgate

Ok, so I built my C10 a few years ago and I am now going through it and finishing/upgrading a few things.

One thing that has never fit right was the tailgate.

When I bought my 79 it was complete, had everything to it. I ordered a LOT of replacement parts for it from LMC including the truck side and tailgate side of the hinges (Trunnion).

I had some of my staff help me assemble the truck so I don't know if the hinge part on the tailgate is the stock piece or the LMC piece. I have come to notice that this piece from LMC only comes for the 81-87 trucks.

SO, I am trying to find a picture of what the stock pieces would look like for a 79 so I can try and figure out what I have and what I need to replace. I am told that 73/74 are different from 75/80 and of course 81/87.

Right now the tailgate opens and closes fine for the most part except right when it clicks closed it kicks out a little on the passenger side bottom which tells me the wrong part is installed.

Got any numbers for earlier ones? The trunnion parts helps, just shows 81-84 on the bushing numbers

I think this is the passenger side, the "easy off" feature started in 75, not sure about the drivers side.
