Re: looking foe some quiet, tinny sounding mufflers

I put these on my truck. Stock 350 4bbl engine in a 72 long box with factory Ram Horn manifolds. Ran 2 1/4 exhaust pipes with an "H" pipe from front to back exiting behind the rear wheels. Sounds like a small block with a 4bbl and dual exhaust should sound and a noticeable difference in engine response and smoothness.

I don't know what you mean by "tinny sounding," but if it's quiet but free-flowing you're after it's hard to beat the '68-'70 Cadillac mufflers, Walker PN 21856. They're about the same size as a Super Turbo, but they sound like, well, a Cadillac!
