69 c10 lights
I rewired my 69 c10 with a painless harness. When I turn on headlight switch to parking light position all lights come on but when I turn on headlight ,front maker lights shut off and headlights come on . Is this correct?

This might be addressed in your kits instructions. I recently installed an AAW kit in my 69 ( I know, not Painless ), and the instructions mentioned this situation.
To have all lights on, you need to unpin the park light wire from the headlight switch connector and move it to a different socket/terminal. Again, this is for AAW, and I don't know if Painless uses the same system. Just a thought. |

'71 Front only side markers blink opposite to the turn signal lights. Rear markers go on but don't blink with turn signals.

Both the 69 & 70 have park lamps that stay on with the headlamps. Stock wire harness on both, but replacement headlamp switch on both. Not sure if thats factory correct, but that's what I have.
