Use a good grade 1/8" plate steel and a grade 8 bolt and it'll last forever the way I described. The above pictured bracket we made lasted over 750,000 miles in our 67 GMC stepside, yes 750,000+miles, the truck has over 1 million on the chassis its-self, there will be no flexing either as long as your plate is a quality steel.

One more question....anyone have a pic of where the clutch rod hooks up to the fork? I have a strange looking nut on the end of that rod and I'm not sure how it all hooks up

WOW. Thanks for the pic Paul, I was gonna ask about that damn spring :d couldn't figure out why I had minimal pressure on the pedal

Hmmm. This was an interesting and informative thread. When ours didn't line up we used the bar between the two hole trick. (keep it clean here!) and if the block had one hole we moved the bracket on the frame. Had heard rumors about the one hole bar but didn't seem sturdy enough. Now we just use hydrolic.

Hey Paul, how much for item 21 in your drawing. Is it the same for I6 and V8 applications?

1970 K25, 8' stepside bed 350/465/205 44 up front, 60 in the rear 4.10s rolling on 33" Dunlop MTs 1986 K5, 350/465/208 Dana 60/14 bolt from a cucv 36" Super Swampers TSL/SX 1983 K20 w/ CUCV axles, 350/700R4/208 sitting on 37" Goodyears 1986 M1031 6.2 diesel, TH400/NP205 locker in the rear and a LS in the front, all stock for now..... 1986 K30, 350/400/205 dana 60 and 14 bolt. I kept the drivetrain. Body/bad and chassis are gone. 1981 K30, 350/465/205 dana 60 and dually 14 bolt. Has a G80, and a flat bed. Going to replace the flat bed. 1985 K20, 350/400/208 10 bolt and SF 14 bolt. I wonder where I can find some 1 tons. Hmmmmm
