882 Casting Heads..

882 casting heads. These things any good?

I've always heard they were the best of the lightweight smog heads......

should be 1.940" int,1.500" ex. ......w/76cc chambers.not bad when you get 'em ported and use flat top pistons to even out the larger combustion chamber......

The 882 has a bad rep for cracking when they get hot, but I feel it is over stated, I had my ported 882s up to about 260 - 280, and had no problems.
They are perfectly fine heads, just don't invest a whole lot of money into them.
