61 Apache Short Box C Notch
Has anyone C notched there 61 frame? Would you have photos or any other info to share? This is another kit type item I see readily available for 63-66 frames but not the 60-62. I'm fine with fabricating what I need to but I'm always open to seeing what others have done and listening to suggestions.

I did a pipe notch. 5" x 3/16" cut for 2" notch. Porterbuilt has the big notches if you plan on dropping more and cutting bed. I really don't need the notches because my shocks hold me up from dragging mufflers. Plus any lower the pumpkin pokes through. Tire pic is down inside notch.

I did a simple notch also on another truck of mine. I made sure to box the frame and reinforce the outside of the frame as well...can't be too strong in my book.

The 60-62 X frame is already boxed in that area from factory.
