Hi. I'm looking for a suburban console from 67-68 seats typically. Like the one in the pic below.. I have truck type consoles from 67-68 to trade or will buy outright. Rod

just curious Rod, but how exactly are 'burban seats/consoles different than truck? (I've never heard that they are different - ya learn something new everyday!) Thanx

also the suburban console does not have the upper portion that can be used as a back rest for the third passenger.

The metal box underneath is different on a suburban console as it is actually lower than a trucks console because there is no need for the upper lid to be mounted. If you look at the pic in the post I linked to you can see the truck console has a higher pivoting top for the upper seat cushion.. no need for that in a sub console..thats the difference.

And I want a sub console.. I have truck console to trade.

and your 67-68 truck console... note its higher pivot point due to an additinal top lid that flips back for third person back rest.
