Rocker repair?

Hi,

I need to have my driver side rocker panel repaired. Can any experienced body repair guy do it, or should I try to find someone with specific experience with these trucks? Thanks.

Why not have a go yourself. It's easier than you think just take your time .

Re: Rocker repair?

Any body guy should be able to handle it. But if you can find a guy that does these trucks on a regular basis he will [or should] know a few corners to cut to make the job go better. Really any body guy should be able. If he has any experience with changing body panels.

I'd find a body man that does work on the side. A shop would charge you a ton more.

Re: Rocker repair?

If it's only the outer rocker then it's a very simple job. I can't recall I've ever seen one of these trucks that needed just the outer rocker though. It also depends on how well the rocker fits and if any work has been done to the truck previously.
